“And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.” (Job 1:4-5)
Yes Job did so continually for his children. God did so once and for all, for all of us, His lost children, in His Son Jesus-Christ on the cross of Calvary.
Know who Jesus is, what He did and what it means to you and me, and accept it.
Job’s children accepted their father’s sacrifice on their behalf. We too are to accept God’s sacrifice of His only Son Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary on our behalf.
Lord, let everyone who reads this post understand and accept Christ’ work on the cross so that he or she might come to know You fully through your Son Jesus-Christ. In His Mighty Name, I pray you Father. Amen.
