This was the promise of God: I will do whatever is necessary to save the world.
And this is the fulfillment of that promise: Jesus, the son of God, died on the cross for the sins of the whole world.
“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. (Psalm 32:1)
Blessed is the one whose sin the LORD does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit. (Psalm 32:2)
Because of you, Lord, blessed are we who have received you, Amen.
Who is the Lord?
“He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 John 2:2)
Thank you, Lord, thank you. Amen.
