belief vs. knowledge

Many people believe that God exists, but they don’t truly know him. What they know instead is a man’s version for what God should be like or should look like. Because of such, they go on living with major disappointments asking questions like: “How can God allow such things?”

Truthfully, God is like Jesus in Spirit and in Truth.

“If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.” (John 14:7)

And the Holy Spirit is here to teach us of God, to remind us of Jesus, so that we can truly know God.

“All your sons will be taught of the LORD” (Isaiah 54:13)

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:26)

Are you learning of God from the Holy Spirit? or Are you learning a man’s version of what he believes God should be like?

There is only One Teacher teaching the truth and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of the Lord, is he (Matthew 23:8).
