The world was not perfect when Jesus came into it. The world was not found in the order that God created it to function.
Yet, Jesus came into it. He came not condemn it but to save it. He came not to be polluted by it, but to change it. And with his death on the cross, he did just that and more.
Will there ever be a day where no heartaches shall come? Yes.
Will there ever be a day where there is no smoke to dim the eye? Yes.
Will there ever be a day where no one will ever strap himself with a bomb to take the life of others and including his? Yes.
Will there ever be a day of rest, a day of peace, a day where illness is no more, and death disappears forever? Yes.
Will there ever be a day of a new world? Yes.
Jesus is bringing that day and that new world to existence. If only God gives what is good, then only God can give better.
A better body, a better life, a better world, a better relationship with God, a better covenant. Only Jesus can provide better, and no one else walking this earth. And only Jesus has provided better: the forgiveness of sins, and the free gift of eternal life.
