A law to rejoice? on hard liquor?

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” (Matthew 26:27-29)

My God once told his people to take weeks, not one day, but weeks to rejoice. To top it off, he said:

“Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice.” (Deuteronomy 14:26)

Fermented drink is liquor, hard liquor.

God told his people to go merry on hard liquor or whatsoever else they wish in those days.

Yes, God said such and made it into a law. Can you imagine? A law to rejoice? on hard liquor if you wish?

We can cite all the Bible verses against the improper use of wine and liquor all day long. Like a knife, anything can be abused, using it against its benefits.

The law of the Spirit says this: to rejoice on the strongest liquor ever known to mankind, the blood of Jesus Christ. Now, that’s my liquor. For life is in the blood. Eternal life is in the blood of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit came into our hearts to stay because the blood of Jesus has been shed. In Christ, we are free to rejoice howsoever we wish because the Holy Spirit is our guide. Joy is our guide, and not fear. The joy of Christ.
