Jesus is the starter and finisher of faith.

Jesus would never ask you to do something that He himself wouldn’t be the power for you to do it.

(Matthew 14:16) Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

Did the disciples give the crowd something to eat? Yes.

Who made it possible? Jesus.

Why? Because Jesus is God. Everything he says to happen will happen.

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11)

When Jesus says to forgive, He will be your strength to forgive.

When Jesus says to pray, He will be your strength to pray and show you what to say, and to whom to say it.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” (Romans 8:26)

And if Jesus says that you will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, He will make sure that happens.

If He says you need to be born again, He will bring it completion. He is the doctor with the healing. Jesus is the EMT with life in his hands. He tells you what wrong and He fixes it. Jesus is the starter and finisher of our faith.

His glory alone stills us to know that He is God. What a Savior!!!
