When faith came.

For some of us, our faith came the hardest way. What is important is that it came from God as his irrevocable gift to you.

Paul got blinded. Peter cried his heart out when he denied Christ just as Christ had foretold. Zechariah got muted until his son John was born as angel Gabriel had foretold. Nebuchadnezzar lived in the wilderness like an animal just as Daniel had foretold.

My faith came right after my pastor had rejected me. Was I foretold that this would happen to me? Yes, ” You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:22)

“They will put you out of the synagogue…They will do these things because they have not known the Father or Me.” (John 16:2-3)

Whatever were the circumstances that brought you to that moment when only God was left, and neither had He stoned you, that was a moment you will never forget. That moment, you were born again.

Some of us were demon-possessed, addicted to every form of vices. But God reached down pull us out of the pit. And we will never forget how God did it. It may have been a grilling moment. But seeing that he was in the fire with us, gave us the assurance that will never leave us.

What made the experiences surrounding the delivery of faith so precious is that we had full certainty that God had brought us to such moment to experience him in our most inner core. We cherish the moment. The moment points to Him.

The time we were muted, we cried tears of joy because in that very moment, we acknowledged how close God was to us. When we were swallowed by the giant fish, we had entered a new level of intimacy with God. When we ate the grass like an ox, we came to full conviction that God is real and that He does not lie!!!

I’m overwhelmed by you, Lord. I’m overwhelmed. When the earth shook, there you were stabling my feet. I’m overwhelmed by you.
