Jesus Is The Way To Worship God.

Concerning the people of Canaan, Moses once told the people of Israel:

” You must not worship the LORD your God in their way”(Deuteronomy 12:31)

All nations who are worshipping God through their religions are doing so by idolatry. Lip service. Because only through the gospel, can we come to truly know God. And only by His Spirit and the truth of the gospel can we gladly worship him.

I used to idolize God and some of us may be asking how could that be possible. Well whenever we say that we’re doing something for God and yet we don’t even know Him, that’s idolatry. Jesus said “Isaiah was right when he said that these people worship me with the lips but their hearts are far from me”. And that tells us how without knowing what God has done for us we can easily come up with a god of our imagination since our childhood and worship that false god, that mental god of ours.

So how can anyone truly worship God? In rejoicing for what God has done to them, in them, for them, through the finished priestly work of Christ.

“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” as Joel had said and Peter reminded us (Acts 2:17)

God can only be truly worshipped through Jesus. Jesus is the way to worship God. Jesus.
