Jesus, Faith, is the work of God.

Faith is the work of God, the work by God, not the work by man offered to God.

“Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”” (John 6:29)

Faith is the work of God turning a doubter into a believer. Jesus is the one God has sent. Jesus is Faith. Jesus is the work of God.

Without Jesus, no one can see God, no one can understand God, no one can rejoice in God, no one can love God.

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.” (John 6:44)

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”” (John 14:6)

Jesus is the firm assurance.

“Look at the nations and watch– and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” (Habakkuk 1:5)

Jesus is the work of God in the heart of mankind. His birth, his death, his resurrection, his ascension, his return, the work of God from eternity to eternity.

“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” (Romans 8:11)

Jesus is the work of God.

“the just shall live by faith” (Habakkuk 2:4)

The just lives by Jesus, for he hopes in Him.

Jesus is the righteousness of God. Jesus is faith. Jesus is God unveiled to mankind. Jesus is the truth, the way, the eternal life. Jesus is the work of God in the heart of mankind.

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” (2 Corinthians 1:20-22)

Jesus, Christ Jesus, Faith, is the work of God in our hearts to sustain our sight of the never-ending love of God for us, the never-ending love of God for the world.
