We too were dirty and rotten potatoes at one time.

It scares mankind to say that the whole earth is saved by God. It’s almost as bad as telling the religious community that God’s blessings came not by our tithing, not by our fasting, not by our prayers but by the untainted love of God.

Contemplating that every descendant of Adam is saved in Christ is hard to digest unless one takes God’s will for all mankind into consideration.

The part that makes the salvation of the whole world unbearable to many is how salvation needs to be understood by them. Salvation comes by God. Faith comes by God. No one comes to Christ unless God enables them by giving them the faith to do so. God is never in any hurry, and thus has all eternity to show mankind that mercy is mercy and that his love endures all. We’re either children of wrath or grace. And all is by God’s calling and determination.

The preaching of the gospel helps with unveiling the church, the believers out of the unbelievers.

Some are very glad that there’s a hell. I would be such too, if I try to address the wickedness of mankind by my own judgement. We the believers were in hell, under wrath, before we believed. Our hope were in things that pass, things that lead to self-condemnation. We were dead in our sins. But God made us alive with Christ, seated our spirits in Christ, our heaven, and that’s how we became saved.

My hope is not that I see all the criminals in heaven but that I see God truly destroyed the wicked ones by bringing them to repentance as he did to all of us who are saved today.

Our calling is not that we go on arguing, coining names for each other, but preach the gospel. We can sit all day argue about one kind of fish over another, but Christ simply told us to throw the net by preaching the gospel with love.

Can we simply serve as a witness to Christ? We saw him by faith. We just have to tell others that we saw Christ Jesus by faith. The gospel alone is the seed that we sow to be raised in the hearts of mankind as God so enabled them.

Church, let us drop every disputable matters, and preach the gospel, preach the new will of God, preach the hope of God, preach the grace of God, preach the mercy of God, preach Christ Jesus him crucified and resurrected, ascended and will soon return. That’s all we can do by grace. Anything else we do, sowing doubts and fears in the hearts of others, is by flesh and blood. Preach Christ by grace through faith with love.

We too were dirty and rotten potatoes at one time.

“At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:3-7)

Some would argue that we were saved by believing. True and False. True: “we were saved by God causing us to believe.” False: “we were saved by our own wisdom and inteligence causing us to believe.”

We did nothing righteous by our own fleshly means. But God in his mercy saved us. He forgave all of our sins. He cancelled the charge and recorded such action in our history by the bleeding of Christ Jesus on the cross.
