Church,
Because of God who made us righteous in Christ Jesus, our message is no longer “the just shall live by faith”, but “the just, the righteousness of God, is living by faith in Christ.” Having been made alive with Christ by God, we can then attest that we are the righteousness of God.
We’re no longer “hoping” to live by faith because having been made alive with Christ God, we are now living by faith in Christ. There’s just no other life for us other than our faith in Christ. We are alive in God and we can attest of such because of the faith he has instilled in us, the faith in Christ.
We no longer hope to live by faith because by the grace of God which came through Jesus and the truth which came through Jesus, we are alive in God by proof of our faith in Jesus, Christ Jesus.
As Paul once shared to his Hebrew brothers, “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity” (Hebrews 6:1)
The maturity is not to keep on celebrating the shadow but to behold the reality which is here now and in you: Christ Jesus.
