Sin doesn’t want anything to do with us anymore because we’re dead to sin and alive to Christ.
You can do anything in trying to impress Sin, but Sin knows it no longer has any hold on you. Your covenant is now with God in Christ.
“God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:19)
You fear Sin. Sin fears you much more because of the blood of Christ.
“When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” (Colossians 2:13-15)
My friends in Christ, brothers and sisters of the new covenant: God made you alive with Christ. Sin has no more power over your spirit. In fact, Sin shivers when it sees your spirit. That’s why the world hates you. You delight only in Christ the truth. You delight only in Jesus.
Banks lives on interests and fees as creditors. But they can only collect it as the contracts allow them to. Imagine that their customers would always payback their loans in such a way that the Banks find no way to collect interest or fees. Imagine that there were no loan origination fees. Imagine someone had paid up all your loans leaving zero room for the Banks to collect a penny, then the Banks would have to close shop.
A good customer to any Financial institution is one who’s allowing the institution to collect as many fees and interests as it can.
Every time Sin sees a Christian, it cries: Unfair!!!
Sin speaks its natural language. Sin lies because there’s no truth in Sin and it cannot bear the truth.
We’re very fair by the blood of Christ. We’re the righteousness of God.
Christians make Sin shudders. The blood of Christ in Christians make Sin shudders.
Sin doesn’t want anything to do with us because it knows it will just be a waste of time.
“Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.” (Romans 14:4)
Why would anyone want to mess with another whose helper is the Lord??
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished in His glorious presence, with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen.” (Jude 1:24-25)
Eternal life is the power of the new covenant. There is wonderful power in the blood of Jesus. Praised be his name, Amen.
