Information without adequate understanding can lead to deformation.
Information with complete understanding will bring forth transformation.
Knowing the “what” and the “how”, without the “why” only benefits the one whose objective is to mislead. Someone might lead you to what you can know and how you can know it. But keeping you from the true essence of the knowledge is to be trained without a purpose.
It’s not enough to learn about Christ and how he lived and died. But most importantly, knowing why he lived, died and was resurrected will anchor our minds into the relationship that is above all relationships: loved by God.
“This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:10)
Christ sent to you. Christ died for you. Christ lives in you. The reality of glory.
