What does it mean?
It means that it is completed. It is perfectly fashioned. There’s no additional stage left for the reconciliation. Christ fashioned it and finished it.
All that is left has nothing to do with the reconciliation itself but with your mind being brought up to speed, up to date so that you embrace that which you never knew you had, embrace that which you already have.
“God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.” (2 Corinthians 5:19)
The reconciliation is done. It is finished.
You just happen to be late, or rather entirely absent to your trial. You were prosecuted on the cross “in absentia”. You were prosecuted on the cross before you were even conceived in the womb of your mother.
“We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God”
“Be reconciled to God”, know what God knows of you today.
Be reconciled with the knowledge of the love of God for you today! The love that so many have failed to portray toward you. The love that only the death of Christ can fully demonstrate toward you.
Reconciliation is finished!
It is finished!
So, wake up to the knowledge of God, and not the weak opinions of others.
