If your “message of God” is of no use to someone who’s about to be executed, a message embellished with utterances of “god” and ashamed of “Christ Jesus” by proof of omissions and arrogant dismissals of His Name, then such message is neither the Rain nor the Sun of God which pours on the righteous and unrighteous alike. It is a message suited, dressed, made up for the ears of your hearers, but not for the resurrection of their hearts. lt is a campaign message like those of politicians seeking man’s affirmations and elections. Christ Jesus is not such message. Christ Jesus is not “a”message from God, but “the” message of God. He is not one of many, but the One and Only. Jesus is the Word of God. We need him because we are all on death row.
If the Hymns of Salvation rejoice not your heart, then you have yet to hear, see, feel and taste the breadths and depths of the Message of God.
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:6-8)
“He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare to you.” (John 16:14)
Christ Jesus and Him Crucified, Buried and Resurrected.
Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.
