When the rules of the game have changed and no one seem to know what they are, when our earthly comfort is taken away from us, we look to you Lord for comfort. We look to the joy of your salvation of us for comfort. Remind us always, Father, of that which lasts beyond the blurriest of the days. Remind us of your joy, your peace, your hope, your promises, your power, in the name of your son, Jesus, Amen.
