“Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.”
(Matthew 3:8)
The more you repent of, the more joy you experience, the more you live the freedom of Christ. Without the mercy of God, there is no path to repentance. Without the grace of God, there is no strength to repent. Without the love of God, repentance does not exist.
“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” (Titus 2:11-14)
Eager to do what is good, eager to believe in the one God has sent, Jesus. Amen.
Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.
