In Christ, we are living stones, not living bricks or blocks.

“you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”‭ (‭I Peter‬ ‭2:5‬ )

Another great reminder we have from the Holy Spirit is that we are living stones, not living bricks or blocks. What we see is only a form. And we all believers manifest the joy and freedom of Christ in ways that differ in form but not in motive, what moves us, which is the Spirit. What we perceive as flaws in others or their ministries may very well be proof of flaw in our vision or better yet a result of our vision test. If we go by flawed vision or flawed measuring test or flawed motive, the result can only be flawed and therefore useless to our edifying of one another. Stones are of so many different shapes. But at the core, we believers are God’s children. And children don’t always see things or themselves as their parents see them.

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.” (Hebrews‬ ‭13:15-17‬)
