What if God wasn’t as cut and dry as most folks believed him to be?
What if God was approachable?
What if God wasn’t so scary as many had believed him to be?
What if God actually listened to our prayers?
What if God actually answered our prayers among many of others?
What if God enjoyed hearing you, hearing your voice, hearing your heart beat?
What if God enjoyed seeing you smile and laugh?
What if God enjoyed having a conversation with you?
What if God spoke as if the future had not already been written?
What if God came and suffered along with us?
What if God wept along and felt the pain arising from the loss of someone’s family or friend?
What if God constantly had his eyes on us?
What if God never got bored watching what we’re doing?
What if God loved us, enough to cause himself and his Son to go through pain to rescue us from our sins?
What if?
What if God would call you by your nickname in your native tongue in a tone of voice that bears a childhood familiarity?
What if God knew you all along?
In Christ, we’re revealed the true nature, the true image of God.
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” (Hebrews 1:3)
