There is nothing keeping you from welcoming God’s gift, His Son, to your heart, other than yourself. Not even your sins.
”God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:19)
You may have thought that the King of Kings wanted your head on a platter for what you have done and said. But the reality is that He has chosen to forget all about them to never bring them to His mind anymore because of one person’s sacrifice and offering, Jesus, so that He is no longer known as someone others owe, but rather someone who has given generously without reproach. The debt has been reconciled with the payment Christ delivered to death at the cross.

Believe in Jesus right now to be part of the First resurrection and be kept from the second death.
When Adam chose sin over God, that was our first death. When anyone chooses disbelief over belief in Jesus, that is their second death. They can’t blame Adam anymore since Adam’s debt has all been paid along with their debts as well.
What is mercy to you if you don’t appreciate it? What is love to you if you have no place for it? What is life to you if you don’t see the need to have it prolonged?
Those who seek and find pleasure in death will find it, for they will not rest until they find it.
But those who seek and find pleasure in life will find it, for they will not have rested until they find it.
Christ Jesus is life and holds the key of death.
”Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8)
Be sure you’re asking for life in Christ, be sure you’re knocking the door of new life in Christ and not the door of second death. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
The Gospel shows the way to new life, and not to second death.
If you believe in Jesus right now, you will already be found living the new life in Christ. The second death has then no power over you because you are then living eternal life, the life of God.
Believe in Jesus right now to be part of the First resurrection, the resurrection in the like manner as Christ’s, and be kept from the second death.
”And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” (Romans 8:11)
”Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.” (Revelation 2:11)
If you believe in Jesus, you will already be be found victorious, conquerors. Because
”we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)
”And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” (Romans 8:11)
Believe in Jesus, to welcome into your heart the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead.
Believe in Jesus, to save yourself from your own self.
Jesus said, “Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” (John 12:25)
To hate your life in this world is to be trading such life for eternal life in the new world.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
Believe, my friends, so that we’re no longer friends that come and go, but brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus to the glory of God who dine together, eat the same bread of the body of Christ, drink from the same cup of the wine, the blood of Christ, who breathe the same air, our hope of resurrection in Christ, who drink the same Spirit, the Holy Spirit.
If you believe Jesus died for you, a death with historical record, He will bring you to believe that he also rose from the grave to live for you and in you, a new life eyewitnessed by hundreds, a new life currently being lived by countless, even many who are long gone.
Believe right now, to die in Jesus and live as he lived on this earth, as he lives now by the Spirit in the heart of whoever believes in Him.

Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.
