Fellowship, moving through the assembly line.

“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:3)
I believe that fellowship is very important, meaning it imports tremendous amounts of value to a Christian who is a product of the Spirit of God. If you can understand what happens at the ideal assembly line, then you can understand that the same principle is in effect when we’re in fellowship with each other, with our Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We grow, and become more mature in the Spirit, as we have fellowship with one another like a product is bettered as it moves through the assembly line.
And I don’t mean that we have to attend worship services to become better. But what I mean is that our faith grows as we fellowship. I believe that we fellowship with our Father and his Son, Jesus Christ, through prayer, worship, and praises as the Holy Spirit guides us. And that we fellowship with each other as we demonstrate Christ to one another by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  1. This is an area that I’ve been lacking in lately. I’ve isolated myself and retreated into my own world ashamed of the circumstances in my life. I’m craving a renewal of relationships. God is pushing and prompting me to do so. Thank you for sharing this. It was a good message.
